Rentìca Farm is only 30 minutes by car from lively Orvieto: where you can admire the splendid cathedral, find many good restaurants and elegant shops, and take walks in the fascinating historical center.

In only five minutes by car, there is the medieval town of Bolsena and its castle; walks along the lake; the colorful market and many typical restaurants.

Nowadays, people are looking for well-being; Rentìca Farm is close to two splendid thermal centers. During medieval times the Terme dei Papi (Viterbo),33 km from Bolsena, was a privileged destination for pontiffs. In 1235, at the time of Pope Gregorio IX, the papal pomps began. In 1450, the baths were named “of the Popes” through the intervention of Pope Niccolas V. Pope Pious II promoted the restoration and modernized of the edifice. Today there’s a 2000 sq.m swimming pool fed by the Bulicame spring (whose steamy waters allows you to take a dip during the winter).

The thermal baths of Saturnia (Pitigliano), 56 km from Bolsena, offers a splendid Spa, one of the most beautiful in Italy. In the same zone, there are the medieval sites of Montemarano, Manciano and Pitigliano and the Etruscan sites of Sorano and Sovana. Don’t miss the beautiful thermal structures of the Val of Orcia like Bagni Vignone and San Casciano dei Bagni, where you can enjoy the natural thermal waters.
